The room was the best for this price I've ever had. Previously when coming here, I've stayed at the local mom & pop old fashioned motels in the area. Those are nice, but most of those rooms are small, & they are older facilities (which I don't have a problem with), except they sometimes smell a bit musty. The room here was larger, even had a sitting area with a sofa & table, and a sitting area in front of the window. The ac is under the seat at the window, which didn't bother me. It was all very clean, great water pressure in shower. Bed was firm but comfy (didn't feel like a cement slab like some hotels). Staff was friendly & helpful. Owner even held door for us when we were taking our stuff inside. They have a small breakfast area. I was pleasantly surprised to see they had scrambled eggs & yogurt as well - when I read on Booking, it only mentioned continental & didn't mention that.

I loved the lady at the front desk. Because I'm awful with names I'll describe her because she was awesome. A thick African American lady with an accent. I'm so awful with names. She was awesome to my kids. She awesome accommodating whomever I saw her interact with including us. She stayed on top of stuff and was so very sweet even when I myself would have lost my patience with everyone calling me left and right and here and there. We really appreciate her. So much so, my son wanted to share his birthday cupcakes with her. We also love the hot tube and pool to help fill our time between attractions. We came here this year at Christmas time to try out Christmas vacation instead of Christmas gifts.

Everything about my stay Beyond pleasant. Easy check in easy added second day, and easy check out. Entire staff were extremely Pleasant and helpful and only wish I could stay longer. Rims were all very clean well kept very nice furniture oh and the bed underneath the window or the bench underneath the window was absolutely awesome I thought that was one of the coolest things and nicest things I've seen in a hotel much less a small one in Maggie Valley I think all should have that it made putting my things somewhere very easy and help me stay organized being that I do it work remotely so I carry a lot of bags with random stuff and it gets chaotic at times so having this little window bed was perfect

We went to Maggie Valley just one day after Hurricane Helene hit. There was no phone service to allow us to see if the hotel was open. We decided to go anyway. Fortunately, the hotel had not been damaged. They were without phone/internet/cable, yet the staff was very accommodating and friendly despite the circumstances. Our room was clean and comfortable. Many roads were closed, as were a lot of the businesses, so we spent most of our time at the hotel. The pool was refreshing. In consideration of the circumstances, we were very pleased with both the hotel and the staff, and will stay again.

Breakfast gave different options, and had plenty to serve everyone. The eating area was clean. The room was clean, no off putting cleaning solution smells, and beds were comfortable. The location was easy assessable off the road. The room served it’s purpose, a place to sleep and shower.
